O.T.A.® therapy for the family and child

Initial examination + creation of an intervention plan for work within the family that the parents participate on (3 hours, 2 therapists)

Three hours, two therapists. Work with a child, who has their own therapeutic program during the plan creation with parents. It's not an ASD diagnostic process. The parent actively participates in the plan creation, actively takes notes of the concrete steps. Clinical experience shows higher effectivity of therapies when parents are actively involved in therapy or at least in the plan creation (compared to only receiving a detailed report).
The presence of both parents is important. In the case of lack of availability of therapeutic services in the place of residence can be therapy repeated approximately 1x after 6-8 months.

Diagnostic process ADOS-2 and a consultation with a psychologist

Examination of the severity of autistic symptoms through utilizing ADOS-2, which is the most used, standardized tool for diagnosing ASD, and then followed by a psychological consultation. The service includes ADOS-2 (50 minutes), evaluation of test results by an administrator (120 minutes), written report (60 minutes) and a consultation with a psychologist – therapist (50 minutes) about the results and other possible therapeutic interventions.

Work with a child (45 minutes), followed by consultation with parents (45 minutes). Intended for older kids before entering therapies.

O.T.A.® for toddlers – introductory meeting (1,5 – 2 hours, 2 therapists)

The therapist will examine the child's developmental level. Based on the observation of the child's reactions and interview with the parents, they will teach the parents first skills of opening up the child to social interactions, suggesting a work plan for the family for the following period, which is approximately 4 weeks. The second therapist in the same room is tending to the child.
It's appropriate to have an indication of a physician (pediatrician, psychiatrist, phoniatrist, neurologist). Alternatively, indication from a clinical children's psychologist and clinical speech therapist.
There's a following program O.T.A.® for toddlers, where we work with the child's family for a maximum of 10 sessions within 2 years.

O.T.A.® for toddlers (1,5 – 2 hours, usually 2 therapists)

The program is designed as a training for parents, usually 10 meetings within the span of 2 years, the effectivity of the program was verified in a clinical study involving 100 toddlers, after 2 years 29% of children reached the result of "off the spectrum" when assessing the intensity of ASD symptoms through ADOS-2: the children from the program had 3,6x higher chance that they'll get better by at least 1 category of severity in the ADOS-2 test compared to children receiving regular community care (early care, speech therapy, sensory integration, occupational therapy or other intensive therapies).
O.T.A.® therapy for the child and family

Therapy for the child in the presence of the parent. We provide it in the form of a package, which includes 4 therapies + a consultation (always without the presence of the child). (Exceptionally can be provided O.T.A.® individual therapy individually (one-time) (45 minutes) for 1 800,- Kč.)

O.T.A.® communication therapy (package 4x 90 minutes + consultation)

Individual therapy 1:1, predominantly in the presence of the parent. Exceptionally the session can be individual (one-time), but only in justified cases. We provide the therapies in the form of a package that includes 4 therapeutic sessions and a consultation that has to be conducted without the presence of the child.
Group therapies

A pair of therapists works with the child based on their level in the presence of other children and they support their self-concept, social and communication skills, with the goal of active participation in the group and self-regulation of the child. The parent isn't present during this type of therapy. (Consultations are recommended at least after every 5th session (45 minutes) 950,- Kč.)

O.T.A.® group training social-communication skills with the utilization of video-feedback (package: 4x 90 minutes + consultation without the presence of the child + video recordings)

Four consecutive sessions: individual video feedback is utilized with the child, in the presence of a parent. For children who are verbal, not just with ASD. Focused on training and cooperation and social-communication skills. Children are learning to cooperate within a group of peers on a joint project. They are guided to active and above all functional communication with immediate positive feedback from therapists, but also their peers. They discover the possibilities of communication and its function, learn self-regulation without additional external stimuli. The original use of evidence-based video-feedback technique helps children strengthen their newly acquired communication skills. The method is very effective, and its effect is easily measurable!
The method was developed in C)T)A) and has been tested in many sub-studies since 2012. They showed a great effect in terms of parental satisfaction already after just completing the first package. The studies showed a significant effect on the satisfaction of children. They found friends among their peers at school and at home.

Reoccurring group therapy for training to get into a regular pre-school. Focused on cooperation of children within the group, cooperation in play, communication. Suitable especially for children from the program Early intervention O.T.A.® for toddlers.
Takes place every Tuesday from 9-12 PM in the same group of kids, the difficulty of the program gradually increases over time.

"OTOVÉ a OTIČKY" – group O.T.A.® program (180 minutes)

Group program taking place regularly once a week for a group of similar children, adjusted to their level. It utilizes the O.T.A.® methodology, including positive feedback and YES series. It focuses on group-directed activities, communication with peers, training in group play (including losing), self-regulation and other key skills. The goal of the program is to support positive perception of oneself, to strengthen communication skills (pragmatics) and the courage to enter new relationships with peers, friends.

"OTOVÉ a OTIČKY" – preparation for school (120 minutes)

It takes place regularly once a week in the same group of children, is intended especially for kids that are in the last year of pre-school. In addition to practicing cooperation, we are also focusing more on guided group activities with an emphasis on the skills necessary for successful school entry. (Children are usually put into this program on the recommendation of therapists from other CTA therapies.)

The price of the program includes:
Webinar with the introduction of the core principles of O.T.A.® during work with the child (code for time-limited access).
- Initial consultation with parents: 60 minutes
- Introductory session that includes:
1. Professional assessment of the child's developmental level during direct work with the child (reactivity, adaptive and working behavior, imitation, social engagement, communication, play and motivation): 50 minutes
2. Administration and scaling of the child's level in individual areas: 40 minutes
3. Development of intervention plan trajectories, determination of therapy goals and specific work procedures, taking into account the situation in the home environment.
4. Development of the current progress in the therapeutic plan:
- 3x session led alternately by the therapist and the parent under the guidance of the therapist, the involvement of the parent's direct work gradually increases: 3x 45 minutes
- Final consultation with parents: 120 minutes – giving specific recommendations, determining a work plan for the home environment.

Consultation is conducted in the presence of the child. Based on the observation of the child and interview with the parents, the therapist gives recommendations for work in the family and home environment. The therapist chooses the contents of the consultation based on the actual situation (observation, direct work with the child, diagnostic process of play skills, communication skills, processing emotions etc.).

Video-training of positive interactions
within the family with a feedback interview in C)T)A) (180 minutes)

Therapist VTI records in a home environment and aids parents in interaction with the child. Those are recorded on a video camera. Later, the therapist conducts a microanalysis at C)T)A) and invites parents for a feedback interview. Shows functional strategies and strengthens needed behavioral patterns, teaches resolution of problematic situations.
Supervision of the O.T.A.® method with the author of the method, intended for therapists in training (45 minutes)

Cancellation fees
If not specified otherwise in the contract documents, cancellation fee is 500,- Kč for every 45 minutes of therapy that weren't officially cancelled beforehand or were cancelled too late (less than 24 hours before the therapy session).
